Stowe Land Trust
The Stowe Land Trust is dedicated to the conservation of scenic, recreational, and productive farm and forest lands for the benefit of the greater Stowe community.

Stowe Land Trust is proud to be celebrating 22 years of protecting the spectacular farm and forest land that make this community unique. It's a true milestone that SLT has protected over 3000 acres of critical habitat, wild and productive lands, and unsurpassable recreational resources. Since the creation of Stowe Land Trust in 1987, the organization has completed 28 conservation projects, five of which are owned and managed by Stowe Land Trust.

Stowe Land Trust embodies the goal of protecting a variety of landscapes, which play a critical role in the larger arena of smart planning for the future. By conserving both forest and field, waterways and viewsheds, we provide an opportunity for future generations to have access to unique recreational resources, and productive forests and farms that contribute to the health and productivity of our community. The work that we do here in Stowe contributes not only to the economic, social and natural health of our town, but enhances the greater community of Lamoille County and Central Vermont.
