Saratoga P.L.A.N.

Saratoga P.L.A.N. (Preserving Land And Nature) is a local land trust focusing on land preservation, local comprehensive and open space planning, and regional coordination for smart growth.

As a land trust, we protect land in the Saratoga region through purchases and donations of land and conservation easements, to protect important natural resources and open spaces. We have protected over 2,500 acres of land in the Saratoga region and have over 1,000 acres of projects now in the works.

As a community partner, we help landowners, developers, community and government agencies find innovative ways to guide development, reduce sprawl, preserve and enhance outdoor recreational areas and protect the natural qualities of the region.

We are a land trust, directly protecting and managing land and water resources through conservation easements and outright acquisition of property.

We are an advocate for smart growth, encouraging comprehensive regional planning to preserve and enhance our quality of life.

We are a collaborative conservation partner, working closely with landowners, developers, government agencies and community organizations throughout the region.
