Open Land Conservancy of Chester County

Since its inception in 1939, Open Land Conservancy has had support from many dedicated and enthusiastic neighbors, landowners and business leaders. With this strong commitment from the community, the Conservancy has protected in perpetuity 482 acres of open space in the rapidly developing Great Valley area. Owned in fee are 360 acres, which include 8 nature preserves open to the public. Conservation easements protect another 118 acres.

Our lands help sustain the scenic character of this historical and once rural area. Deciduous forests, wild flower meadows and limestone streams enhance the region's natural beauty. These preserves provide opportunities for enjoying the outdoors in a country setting.

We encourage you to consider joining our 500 members and contributors in support of Open Land Conservancy's vital work. The Conservancy, with your help, will continue to protect open space enjoyed by many individuals and families living and working in the Great Valley and beyond. The Conservancy is a 501 (c)3 public charity and therefore relies on member dues and contributions to fulfill its missio
