New Jersey Conservation Foundation
The mission of New Jersey Conservation Foundation is to preserve  New Jersey’s land and natural resources for the benefit of all.

New Jersey Conservation Foundation (NJCF) is a private, not-for-profit organization. We rely on philanthropic support and grants from a variety of public and private organizations and individual donors.

Through acquisition and stewardship NJCF protects strategic lands, promotes strong land use policies, and forges partnerships to achieve conservation goals. Since 1960, NJCF has protected over 100,000 acres of natural areas and farmland in New Jersey – from the Highlands to the Pine Barrens to the Delaware Bay, from farms to forests to urban and suburban parks.

New Jersey Conservation Foundation and its partners preserve thousands of acres of land every year, protecting critical habitat and farmland for public enjoyment and the safeguarding of natural resources.

NJCF’s stewardship staff manages preserved lands through easement monitoring and innovative, long-term management plans. Our strategies include enhancement of biological diversity and habitat, as well as forest restoration.
