Eden Hill Conservancy

Welcome to the Eden Hill Conservancy web site.  We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that is based in Huntingdon County, PA, in the area known as Eden Hill along Spruce Creek and the Little Juniata River.   We were founded in 1995 to preserve, study, and educate the community about Eden Hill and are active in conservation, education, preservation, and research.

Conservation
We currently hold conservation easements on 2 properties in Eden Hill, representing a total of 217 acres.

Education
We conduct education programs to educate young people about nature, the environment, and the wonderful places to explore in and around Eden Hill.  We host over 150 Tyrone area first graders annually for an outdoor nature study program.

Preservation
We host seminars for local business, community, and government groups to raise awareness of the area’s historic assets.

Research
We fund research on local animal and plant life to enhance community awareness of the biodiversity of Eden Hill.  Our research collection includes longitudinal studies of songbirds and native plants found in the area.
