Our Mission: Cascade Land Conservancy protects our region's wild and open lands to sustain the natural beauty and health of the environment, now and for generations to come.

Cascade Land Conservancy (CLC) is an entrepreneurial nonprofit land conservation organization. CLC is uniquely positioned in the conservation community, known for our willingness to take bold steps in partnership with public and private organizations, to address the community’s desire for a healthy environment.

Using innovative conservation methods, CLC works to conserve and steward the landscapes that span our region: from headwaters to estuaries, foothills forests to urban centers. The Cascade Agenda, a comprehensive vison and strategy, enables us to assess threats to ecosystems, identify regional conservation opportunities, and conserve and steward these important lands. CLC maximizes the impact of our conservation and restoration efforts by targeting properties with ecologic functions and benefits that extend beyond their boundaries.

CLC’s land conservation initiatives and restoration efforts help ensure the health of our landscapes for the benefit of all – citizens and wildlife – that live here.
