Old Dominion Land Conservancy

The Old Dominion Land Conservancy, Inc. seeks to educate the public and to protect land and water resources for their natural, scenic, recreational, historic, and agricultural values. We were formed in 2001 as International Partners in Education, Inc. In 2008 we changed our name to the Old Dominion Land Conservancy, Inc. to reflect our focus on the preservation of Virginia's Historic Countryside and water resources.

The Old Dominion Land Conservancy, Inc. is a Virginia nonprofit corporation and qualifies as a federally recognized public charity under Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c) (3).

Our mission is to:

  • Educate the public about the importance of conservation
  • Protect and preserve Virginia's historic countryside
  • Protect and preserve Virginia's water resources
