New River Land Trustlast updated: December 2014

The New River Land Trust is a local non-profit formed to protect the farmland, forests, open spaces and historic places in Virginia’s New River region. This service area includes the counties of Bland, Carroll, Floyd, Giles, Grayson, Montgomery, Pulaski and Wythe and the cities of Galax and Radford. We preserve precious land by educating landowners and other stakeholders about the benefits of voluntarily donating conservation easements on their land, protecting it for future generations. Since 2002, the New River Land Trust has worked hard to help conserve over 31,000 acres in the New River region.
