Deschutes Land Trustlast updated: February 2017

The Deschutes Land Trust works cooperatively with landowners to conserve land for wildlife, scenic views and local communities. The Land Trust conserves and protects land in Central Oregon for Central Oregonians. We care for more than 8,200 acres in our region for today, tomorrow and for generations to come.

The Trust's vision is to promote healthy lands that support diverse populations of native plants and wildlife. Engage communities to work with the land, value the natural world, treate it with respect and invest in the future.

Lands considered for protection must meet our rigorous conservation criteria which assures that all protected lands meet the mission of the Land Trust. Lands protected by the Land Trust can allow, but do not have to allow public access.
