AVIS is a non-profit conservation society dedicated to acquiring land and preserving it in its natural state. Founded in 1894, AVIS, is one of the oldest conservation organizations in the country. Walk or ski the 30 miles of trails, boardwalks, and bridges that are open to the public on over 1100 acres of AVIS reservations in Andover. Volunteer wardens are responsible for the care and oversight of each reservation and they are often neighbors. If you have questions or concerns about a particular reservation, please contact the warden for the particular reservation.
