The River to Lake Initiative is a collaborative group of landowners, non-profit organizations, and state, federal and tribal agencies. R2L partners work to conserve and restore the Flathead River's clean water, fish and wildlife habitat, and productive farmlands. Since 2000 R2L partners have successfully protected over 5,500 acres, planted over 20,000 feet of river banks and over 20 acres of riparian, wetland, and associated uplands in the Flathead River Valley.
