USDA Gives Grant for Fish, Wildlife Conservation in Western Maine Mountains

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is providing $4.6 million in support of conservation efforts to assist private landowners in improving fish and wildlife habitats between the White Mountains of New Hampshire and Maine's Moosehead Lake.

RFF President to Attend Species Conservation & ESA Initiative Workshop

Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies Applauds Prairie Chicken Decision
The federal court decision, which denies requests of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to reverse the Sept. 1, 2015 federal court decision regarding the listing of the lesser prairie-chicken. The Sept. 1 decision vacated federal protections for the bird, which was listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act in 2014.
