Visalia Downtown Certified Farmers Market

Located in the heart of California’s Central Valley, Visalia's Farmers Markets celebrate our region's rich agricultural history and support our local food system by providing the public a wide selection of locally grown produce and handmade products seasonlly available year round.

  • We proudly accept WIC Fruit and Vegetable Vouchers and EBT.
  • The Visalia Farmers Market offers booth space to community groups and organizations interested in reaching out to the public. Download an application from our contact and membership information page.
  • Sign up to receive weekly e-mails featuring what's fresh at market, recipes, and special event announcements.

California Certified Farmers’ Markets (CFM) are the “Real Thing,” places where farmers sell their crops directly to the public. Before a farmer can sell at a Certified Farmers’ Market, the farmer must obtain state certification that the farmer has grown the produce that he or she is selling. Elimination of packing, shipping and wholesale costs means both the farmer and consumer can save money. For information on certifying your farm, go to California Certified Farmers Market Program.
