Terry M. Mallery
Terry M. Mallery is a business and real estate lawyer practicing in Monterey. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting (1976), and he graduated from McGeorge School of Law in 1979. Since then, he has been in private practice in Monterey, with the exception of a one-year period when he served as general counsel to a small marketing company.
His practice is devoted to business and real estate issues, including such areas as sales of business and succession planning; , formation and dissolution of limited liability companies, corporations, partnerships, and joint ventures; real estate sales, exchanges, and development; contracts, and leases.
His clients include businessmen, businesswomen and professionals in a wide range of endeavors, and include numerous clients in construction and real estate, retail and such professionals as doctors, dentists, engineers, and other lawyers.
Mr. Mallery has lectured at seminars and taught classes on business law issues for various groups including the California State Bar Taxation Section, Monterey College of Law, Service Corps of Retired Executives, the Monterey Peninsula Estate Planning Study Group, the Continuing Professional Education Forum of the Central Coast, the Financial Planning Association, the Employment Development Department, the Monterey Chamber of Commerce, the New Monterey Business Association, and the UCSC Paralegal Program.
