Terry Arthur

Born in Independence, Kansas,  1944, Terry is a native of Manhattan, Kansas.  He attended the University of Kansas,  where he earned a B.S. in 1967. Terry  was awarded his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of law in 1969, and  an LL.M. in taxation from New York University  in 1970. He was admitted to the bar in Kansas in 1970.

Terry joined Arthur-Green, LLP in  1970. With over 30 years experience in  areas such as estate planning and  taxation law, Terry has coauthored two books on estate planning, and has taught  business and tax related courses at Kansas State University. In addition to his practice in the estate  planning and tax areas, Terry is general counsel for Kansas Farm Bureau. Since 1982, he has been named in the publication  Best Lawyers in America,  and in 2006, he was named a “Super Lawyer” by the Kansas City Business Journal  in the area of trusts and estates. Terry  is active in a variety of civic, educational and charitable groups, and has  served on the Board of Directors of several community organizations and is an  active member of his church. He  currently serves on the board of directors of The Master Teacher, Inc., Kansas  State Bank, Big Lakes Developmental Center, Inc., and Leiszler Oil Co., Inc.
