Rapphannock County Conservation Alliance

The Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance (RCCA) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization made up of Rappahannock residents who are dedicated to preserving the open space and farmland that make Rappahannock County unique. RCCA is an information resource for landowners considering a conservation easement donation, a guide for donors navigating the process, a connector for buying and selling tax credits, and a potential source of funds for some of the administrative costs of the easement donation. RCCA is also the largest private donor to the Farmland Preservation Program (FPP).

Our Mission

RCCA’s mission is to ensure that Rappahannock County remains a scenic, rural community by promoting conservation easements and farmland preservation.
