Oakland Park

Oakland Park is a small but popular recreation spot with 32 campsites and all the modern campground amenities to keep campers comfortable.  The campground sits on Bull Shoals Lake, a favorite destination for water sports and prime fishing. Bull Shoals Lake, stretching more than 71,000 acres, is fed from the White River. The river flows from northwest Arkansas to south-central Missouri, and then loops back into central Arkansas where it eventually flows into the Mississippi River. Boating, water skiing, fishing and swimming are all favorite activities on the lake. Hiking and hunting are also popular sports on the public land surrounding the lake.

Most sites lack natural shade, but the picnic tables have canopies for a break from the sun.
