EQIP offers incentive payments, cost share and technical help to assist eligible participants install or implement structural and management practices on agricultural land.

EQIP contracts end one year after the last practice in the contract is completed. The minimum term for a contract possible is two years. Limited Resource producers and New or Beginning Farmers may be eligible for cost share up to 90 percent.
