Noble Soil & Water Conservation District

Noble Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) was organized in July 1942. It was the 6th district to be organized in Ohio. The district is a legal sub - division of the state and state law mandates that the district be governed by a board of supervisors (who serves without pay) consisting of five members. These members are elected for a 3 - year term at an annual meeting held in the fall of each year. Any resident or landowner in Noble County is eligible to participate in election. Regular meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month and special meetings are held when needed. These meetings are open to the public.
