Local Growers' Network
Changing our world in a profound way!

Founded in 2008, The Local Growers Network is a group of growers in Knox and surrounding counties who have come together to provide locally grown, farm fresh produce. For the 2012 season, we are evolving to a CSA (community supported agriculture) which means providing a box of fresh, locally grown produce weekly to customers who have reserved their 'share'.

In 2009, The Local Growers Network’s innovative online email approach to marketing local produce won it the Radish Award from Radish Magazine. In 2011, The Local Growers Network's founder, Julie Haugland, received the Golden Beet Award from the Illinois Stewardship Alliance in the category "Scaling Up."

We will continue to provide a great level of service as the principles that the Local Growers' Network are founded on can play a vital role in reinvigorating the family farm, supporting stewardship and revitalizing our rural community. We are committed to helping to inform our customers, providing excellent products and supporting Knox and surrounding counties by selling produce grown locally by family farms. We choose to sell high quality, fresh food near our farms, so it doesn't have to travel many miles to our customer's tables.
