John M. Kelley

John has been in the real estate industry for 16 years, most recently as Vice President of Development with Cousins Properties Incorporated.  During this time, he developed over 3,000,000 sf of space nationwide, representing an investment value of approximately $500,000,000.  He has worked extensively with planning, environmental, and entitlement issues throughout his career, including significant environmental impact and mitigation permitting with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources as well as negotiating complex tax incentive structures.  John previously worked for three years as a civil engineering consultant designing residential subdivisions.  John is a native of Atlanta, and a graduate of The Westminster Schools, Georgia Tech (Civil Engineering, Co-op Plan) and The University of Georgia (MBA, with concentrations in Real Estate, Entrepreneurship, and Corporate Finance) where he was awarded first place in the UGA/J.C. Bradford & Co. Business Plan Competition.
