Jane Menchyk
Jane Menchyk serves as Land Protection Specialist for the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy (WPC) and Project Manager for WPC's Colcom Revolving Fund.

She works with interested landowners and other conservation organizations in the northwest region of Pennsylvania on a wide array of conservation projects. Jane has years of experience coordinating and conducting many aspects of real estate transactions.

Land protection experience includes development of acquisition strategies, fundraising and grant writing, outreach with landowners and community, management of acquisition projects, development of legal agreements, including conservation easements and more recently development of strategies specific to oil and gas severances / leases.

Jane has recently co-led the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy through the national Land Trust Accreditation process where she learned a great deal about what it means to meet national standards for excellence, uphold the public trust and ensure that conservation efforts are permanent.

Jane received a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Computer Science at Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. Jane also serves as a board member for the Moraine Preservation Fund, an organization that provides services to Moraine State Park and McConnells Mills State Park in Butler County, Pennsylvania.
