Daniel McConville

Dan McConville is part of to Sewall's Forestry & Natural Resource Consulting group coming from Prentiss & Carlisle in Bangor where, since 2005, he led P&C's valuation services, conducted feasibility studies for the forest industry, assisted with forest inventory, and assisted in management efforts for over 1.3 million acres of forestland, including forest planning and modeling, highest-and-best-use analysis, developing silvicultural guidelines, and documentation for Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) green certification.

From 2000-2005 Dan worked for the University of Maine Cooperative Forestry Research Unit where he conducted applied research in silviculture and forest management, and managed communications.  From 1998-2000 he conducted research in forest management technology for the Joseph W. Jones Research Center in Newton, GA.  Dan holds a BA from Middlebury College and a MS in Forestry from the University of Maine.  He is a Faculty Associate at the University of Maine School of Forest Resources.

Dan brings to Sewall a multi-disciplinary background that he will apply to forestry and natural resource valuation and forest economics studies on behalf of a broad range of Sewall clients across the nation, including the US South, and internationally.  He is a certified general appraiser, increasing the number of certified appraisers at Sewall to five.
