Cypress Bayou Wildlife Management Area
Cypress Bayou WMA encompasses approximately 1,503 acres in northern Lonoke County and southern White County. The management area was acquired through the Farmers Home Administration program in 1989, and the majority of the area was reforested with mixed hardwood species in the early 1990s. A variety of game animals inhabit the area including deer, squirrel, rabbit and wintering waterfowl as well as numerous nongame animals. Access to the area is restricted to foot traffic.

The six acre lake’s fishery consists of bream, catfish and bass.
