Central Coast RC&D Council
The Central Coast Resource Conservation & Development (CCRC&D) Council was established in 1974. Our Council covers the beautiful Central Coast counties of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito and Santa Clara. Membership includes supervisors from each county, representatives from the Cachuma, Coastal San Luis, Upper Salinas/Las Tablas, Monterey, San Benito, Santa Cruz, and Loma Prieta Resource Conservation Districts (RCD's), the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments; the Rural Development Center, and the Community Alliance For Family Farmers.
Our council has two major goals:
(1) enhance and sustain the good health of watersheds and
(2) improve rural economic conditions consistent with a long-term sustainable economy.

To develop partnerships to facilitate the sustainability of our communities and the diverse natural resources of the Central Coast.
