Today your Soil & Water office provides technical assistance to county residents on the many ways to protect our soil and water resources. Here are just a few!
We'll work with you on your farm and in your vineyards to help protect the soil  from erosion, manage storm water runoff, store and handle manure safely and develop other conservation plans. This will protect your valuable soil resources and help to keep our streams and lakes clean.  We'll work with you and your contractor on any of your construction projects to help prevent erosion, protect your property and help protect our lakes and streams.     

We'll continue to work with local partners monitoring water quality and preventing the spread of invasive species.
