Ms. Peterson’s practice is mainly in probate, wills, trusts, elder law and estate and financial planning. She is Board Certified as a Specialist in the fields of Estate Planning and Administration by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization.
After graduation from law school, Ms. Peterson was a law clerk for Chief Justice John A. Dixon, Jr. of the Louisiana Supreme Court. Ms. Peterson has taught courses in Louisiana Trust Law and in Document Drafting as an adjunct professor at Loyola University Law School to law students and in Louisiana Succession Law at Tulane University to paralegal students. She has also taught continuing legal education courses on Powers of Attorney and Living Wills to other attorneys through Loyola Law School’s Continuing Legal Education Program.
