Comments: This bank can be used for fresh to intermediate marsh impacts, however the bank should not be used to offset impacts to tidally influenced wetlands and water bottoms designated by NMFS as essential fish habitat under provisions of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act. The coastal prairie credits will be limited to mitigating impacts to farmed wetlands, wetland pasture, non-tidal emergent and scrub-shrub wetlands and possibly low quality BLH hardwood wetlands. The CP credits will not be used to compensate for BLH forest or mixed pine-blh occupying known prairie soil mapping units. Service Area for BLH=Calcasieu Basin (08080203,08080204,08080205,08080206). Service Area for Coastal Prairie=Mermentau Basin (08080201 and 08080202); Vermilion-Teche (08080102 and 08080103), and Calcasieu Basin (see above for HUCs); Service area for FM=Calcasieu Basin, Vermillion-Teche Basin & Mermentau Basin (see HUCS above).
