PPRI's mission is maintaining and restoring Nebraska ecosystems, creating opportunities for education, research, stewardship and community development. PPRI accomplishes its mission through four major project areas: 1) prairie restoration, 2) maintaining a system of prairie preserves, 3) educational programs, namely the SOAR (Summer Orientation About Rivers) program, and 4) the Platte Corridor Initiative.
