Comments: The NDFCB is owned by 2 landowners, The Trust for Public Land (TPL) and Reclamation District 2093 (RD2093). The TPL property comprises the vast majority of the bank at 701.15 acres and the RD2093 comprises the remaining 107.9 acres. Wildlands Inc. acquired the mitigation rights in exchange for habitat enhancement. Wildlands Inc. was granted a 1:5 ratio for the TPL property for a total of 4 preservation credits and 136.23 enhancement and/or creation credits. Wildlands was granted a mixture of 1:1 preservation / 1:5 enhancement ratio for RD2093 for a total of 31.30 preservation credits and 53.8 enhancement and/or creation credits. Combined preservation credits equal 35.30 of which can only be used for NMFS salmonid credits. Enhancement and/or creation credits equal 190.03 credits of which all may be sold as NMFS/CDFW salmonid credits, 175.63 may be sold as USFWS delta smelt / CDFW delta and longfin smelt credits, and 28.23 may be sold as part of CDFW AB360 program.
