Purpose:
The Nevada-Placer Weed Management Area group cooperates and coordinates activities necessary for the prevention and control of noxious weeds in Nevada and Placer Counties (excluding the Tahoe Basin). These activities focus on the prevention and/or expansion of noxious weeds. The priority of control and eradication efforts is concentrated on species designated as noxious weeds by the California Department of Food & Agriculture and other species of local significance as identified by WMA partners.
