Nash Soil & Water Conservation District is committed to quality leadership and customer service for the conservation of soil, water and related natural resources. The District strives to offer balanced technical assistance and cooperative conservation programs to land owners and land managers throughout Nash County.

Nash Soil and Water Conservation District is a subdivision of state government that is responsible for establishing a conservation program that meets the needs of the County. This program consists of setting priorities for conservation work within the county, providing technical and financial assistance for installing Best Management Practices, providing soil survey and land use information plant owners, and to conduct environmental education to interest groups. The district also works closely with other agencies to assist customers with the wise use of natural resources.
