Mike has been a forester at Trout Mountain since 2010, working with family forestland owners, municipalities, and non-profits in northwest Oregon and southwest Washington. Mike is a certified Technical Service Provider (TSP) with the Natural Resource Conservation Service, a major provider in Oregon of cost-share assistance for forest management planning and conservation practice implementation. When not in the woods for work, he can often be found outside with his wife, tending the backyard garden and chickens, hiking in the mountains, or paddling the canoe.
