Dean Forestry Services is a father/son (Covert Dean & Lance Dean) forestry consulting partnership. We are licensed Mississippi Registered Foresters that offer forestry related services to private landowners in a wide range of forest management activities that include (but are not limited to):

  • We can help you get the most money for your timber on today's market. This includes lump sum sales (sealed bid) and assisting with pine plantation thinnings (negotiation).
• Timber Appraisals and Inventory (timber cruises) 
  • We can appraise the value of your timber, whether for your own personal information or for basis establishment for tax purposes. We can also appraise timber damage and timber theft.
• Land & Timber Management 
  • We can help you decide what to do with your timberland and assist with the management of your timberland to meet your goals. If you are in need of an opinion on the condition of your timber or if you just simply don't know what to do with your forest, give us a call.
