La Vernia Market Days? is the brainchild of Chelsea Christian. A mother of three young boys, she made sure to make the market an ideal destination for the families of La Vernia and surrounding communities when the market in June 2018. It?s still a work in progress, though. For example, she adjusted market days from Saturdays and Sundays of the 2nd and 4th week of the month to just the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month.All the constant tweaking, though, ensures that families can spend time together at the market. This translates to making sure that there?s something for everyone ? especially the kids. On the flip side, Chelsea's goal is to support and promote local small businesses and promote shopping local, something she?s very passionate about.
