Ken Theis is the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) Coordinator for the Bear River Area, which serves Box Elder, Cache, Rich, and Weber counties. Because of the proximity vegetative fuels - forests, grasslands, etc. - communities on the WUI at at greater risk of wildlife damage. The role of the WUI Coordinator is to work with communities to minimize those risks.
