Kelseyville Pear Festival

The Kelseyville Pear Festival was first held in the fall of 1993. The Kelseyville Business Association decided to feature one festival per year and to promote the agricultural heritage of the community. The Festival has since grown from an attendance of 1,500 the first year to 9,000 last year.

The Festival has always begun with a parade and featured arts and crafts booths, food, music, the Pear Dessert Competition and the Quilt Show. Through the years, the Pear Packing Competition, the Antique Tractor Exhibit and the Pear Pavilion.

Our all volunteer team is very proud of the quality of this festival. We strive to present a fun, family event with something for everyone: from quilts to tractors, to games for the children, to all kinds of food, mule-drawn wagon rides, quality arts and crafts, a fine art show, and a variety of music from local musicians.

“We invite everyone to attend our festival in our friendly country town,” says Marilyn Holdenried, chairman.

The 2013 Kelseyville Pear Festival will be held on Saturday, September 28th.
