Dr. Jeanne Michel Beck graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. A New Orleans native, she grew up bringing her family pets to Lakeview Veterinary Hospital, so she is very excited to be joining such a wonderful team. She began volunteering at a local animal shelter and working as a veterinary assistant at a young age, where she realized that veterinary medicine was her passion in life. Dr. Beck attended Mount Carmel Academy high school and earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences from Louisiana State University. Dr. Beck enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a special interest in dermatology, ultrasound, and preventative care. After graduation, Dr. Beck and her husband moved to Abita Springs and she has been working in a small animal practice.
