The Huron Soil and Water Conservation District partners with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), the Farm Service Agency (FSA), and local landowners to administer State and Federal cost share dollars that are generated through programs like the Environmental Quality Incentive Program and 319 Water Quality Grants for landowners and producers to promote better land stewardship.

The mission of the Huron Soil and Water Conservation District is to help landowners with the development and protection of the county's natural resources to enhance the quality of life in Huron County.  We will provide the best quality soil and water technical assistance to help landowners use our natural resources while protecting the environment against degradation.
