Danville Conservation Commission

Purpose:  In recognition and gratitude for the funding provided to the Conservation Commission by Danville taxpayers the following mission statement defines the ways in which we will be utilizing those funds.

Mission Statement:  Good stewardship dictates we care for and increase the environmental and economic resources we are entrusted with.   Through our advisory role we may review and comment on potential land use proposals (either physical or regulatory) with the objective of safeguarding and increasing Danville's resource base.

Management of land entrusted to the Conservation Commission will combine uses benefiting wildlife, people, the environment, recreation, and our town's financial well being.   Acquisition of land, purchased, donated, or otherwise, will be accomplished according to our bylaws.

REMINDER: This listing is a free service of LandCAN.
