This working ranch is located in the center of the best elk hunting country in Colorado.  It is nestled between the Flattops, the Yampa Valley and Gore Pass.  The lodge is located at an elevation of 8100 feet with the private land extending up to 9300 feet.  The rich Yampa grass and cool timbered forests attract thousands of elk to the area.  Mule deer and black bear are also plentiful.  If you are looking for easily accessed hunting, combined with warm, comfortable accommodations and three hot meals per day, then this is the place for you.
