Cassie is a Biologist for Ducks Unlimited with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from SDSU. Having represented DU, South Dakota Conservation Districts and the NRCS.

A key to conservation success is working side-by-side with producers is her favorite part of the job. Finding new ways to implement conservation practices and providing habitat for wildlife keeps Cassie motivated.

Conservation practices DU can assist with include: wetland and grassland restorations/enhancements, grazing infrastructure, conservation easements, soil health improvements (i.e. cover crops), and other similar projects.
