Bryan Bowen

Caddis is a multidisciplinary design collaborative that explores ways of living more lightly upon our earth in beautiful, healthy environments.

A leader in sustainable design, net-zero homes, livable communities, and ski resorts, Caddis applies sophisticated design and creative solutions to every project. In addition to our skills in architecture, our expertise in grassroots community engagement is essential for large-scale projects, specifically that of multifamily housing, resort development, and institutional projects.

An expert in sustainability, Bryan was a LEED Champion during the program’s pilot phase for the Oquirrh Park Speed Skating Oval for the 2002 Olympics, has been trained in Passive House and the Living Building/Community Challenge, and is a cohousing wonk. He was named as the AIA Architect of the Year in 2015 by the Northern Colorado AIA chapter. He serves as chair of the City of Boulder Planning Board. Bryan thrives on community. He lives in Wild Sage Cohousing with his wife, two sons, and neighbors who feel like family.
