Blacksmith Fork Conservation District

The Blacksmith Fork Conservation District works with landowners to protect soil, water quality, and other natural resources. We put landowners and land managers in touch with funds and technicians to devise conservation projects.

The Blacksmith Fork Soil Conservation District utilizes a variety of state and federal programs to assist local landowners with conservation projects. Examples of projects include animal feeding operations, water quality improvements, irrigation improvements, range improvements, erosion control, noxious weed control, and other farm and ranch needs.

We also promote conservation through our annual Bare-root Tree & Shrub Sale. The Blacksmith Fork District, along with our partner, the North Cache Conservation District, sponsors an annual tree sale as a conservation fund-raiser. We offer a variety of high quality plants specifically chosen for Northern Utah. Order your bare-root trees and shrubs in January each year for spring delivery.
