Arrow Head Country Resource Conservation and Development Area

The Arrow Head Country Resource Conservation and Development Area represents the 10 counties shaded on the left. Those include Kosciusko, Marshall, Starke, Jasper, Newton, Pulaski, Fulton, Cass, White, and Miami counties. Each county has 3 representatives coming from the following entities County Commissioners, County Extension Board, and the Soil and Water Conservation District.

The primary duty of the council is to help with natural resource conservation and development as well as education in the 10 county area. Each year Arrow Head Country has a grant program to help fund projects with those same principles in mind. As well as an educational rafting program on the Tippecanoe River at Tippecanoe State Park in the summer to educate school children in the 10 county area.
