Scientific Irrigation Tools Cut Water Use

Mississippi Delta producers need to reduce water use significantly in the next few years to avoid exhausting the alluvial aquifer that underlies the region. Irrigation scheduling tools could help with that reduction. Mississippi State University’s Jason Krutz explains why in this presentation during the Irrigation Technology Seminar at this year’s Mid-South Farm and Gin Show in Memphis, Tenn.
