Louisiana Smoke Management Volunteer Guidelines

The use of prescribed fire as a forest management tool has long been regarded as indispensible by the forestry community.  In order to lessen the impact of smoke generated from prescribed burning on public health and welfare the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry and the Louisiana Forestry Association developed these Voluntary Smoke Management Guidelines.
