The Post Oak RC& D is locally organized and led to provide and excellent way for local residents and grassroot organizations to join together to decide what is best for their community natural resources use and economic development. The purpose of the PORCD is to promote conservation, development, and utilization of natural resources; to improve the general level of economic activity; to enhance the environment; and the standard of living in rural communities.
