KARIN M. THEO joined Eliason Law as an associate in 2016. Ms. Theo concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate, permitting and business law. She advises and works with clients on various residential and commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, commercial lending, land donations as well as land use and permitting matters. Ms. Theo assists with business formation, maintenance and transactional matters, including contract drafting, review and negotiation, asset transfers and acquisitions. She brings a strong legal background and eight years of experience prior to Eliason Law in real estate, permitting and business, as well as civil litigation representing real estate developers, contractors, title insurance companies and various businesses and individuals. Ms. Theo is a summa cum laude graduate of Gordon College and studied a year abroad at Oxford where she studied comparative law, ethics, and jurisprudence. Subsequently she received her law degree, magna cum laude, from Suffolk University School of Law. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts. 

Eliason Law is a general practice law firm representing clients with regard to municipal permitting and the development, acquisition, sale and leasing of real estate, including single family residential properties and subdivisions, apartment and condominium complexes, and commercial properties. Eliason Law also aids developers and municipalities in the creation of affordable housing in Massachusetts communities.
