This 12-acre wooded site adjacent to El Dorado High School features plants native to Arkansas’s West Gulf Coastal Plain and exotic species including flowering camellias and azaleas. Managed by the South Arkansas Community College, the arboretum offers paved walking trails, a rental pavilion, rental gazebo, restrooms, and parking.
Open: 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. (Monday through Saturday); 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. (Sunday).
[NOTE: During Daylight Saving Time hours extend to 7 p.m. daily.]
Closed: Christmas Day.
